Criminal Justice Student Wins First Place

UNH graduate student Mehwish Salim of Salisbury, Maryland, has been awarded first place in the Northeastern Association of Criminal Justice Sciences (NEACJS) Student Paper Award competition. Salim will receive a cash award and a one-year membership in the NEACJS for her paper, "Cyber Terror: Unequivocal Threat or Hyperbole?," which was originally submitted for her national security and public safety research project. She will deliver her paper at the annual meeting of the NEACJS at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, on June 11. For more information, visit
