Boronico Appointed Associate Vice President for Retention

Christie Boronico has been appointed associate vice president for retention at UNH, effective June 1. Boronico has led the University’s experiential education initiative since coming to UNH from Rutgers University in 2006. She has an extensive background in college and university administration including academic program development, graduate admissions and student affairs. Since joining UNH, Boronico has provided leadership in the strategic development of policies and planning to enhance experiential education initiatives; including partnering UNH with the National Society for Experiential Education Academy, chartering the Honor Society for Experiential Education at UNH, expanding career services, and establishing offices of academic service learning, internship/employer relations and study abroad. She also worked with the UNH community to develop the institutional strategic plan, and co-chaired the 2006 and 2007 UNH United Way campaigns.
