Careers in the Federal Government Information Session

The Career Development Center will host certified federal career counselors for information sessions on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Both Sessions will take place in the conference room in the Bartels Student Activity Center. The counselors will discuss:

•    Reviewing the federal job process
•    Networking
•    Researching vacancy announcements on USA Jobs
•    Analyzing your core competencies
•    Writing your outline format and paper format federal resume
•    Applying for jobs with automated recruitment systems
•    Tracking and following up on your applications
•    Interviewing for a federal job

The workshop is designed for veterans; criminal justice, political science and national security majors; or anyone who wants to learn more about opportunities working with the federal government. RSVP online.
