Women’s History Month Celebration: Open Mic Night

Women’s History Month Celebration: Open Mic Night

As part of UNH’s celebration of Women’s History Month, the University will host an open mic night on Thursday, March 28, that will feature Hartford native Tracy “Mind Evolution” Caldwell. The event begins at 9 p.m. in the programming space in Bartels Hall. Caldwell, a writer, actress, lyrical musician and motivational speaker, is the creator of the “The Thick Chronicles: A Body Image Story,” a collection of poems, skits and first-person accounts of people's love/hate relationship with their bodies.

In April, the Women’s History Month Committee will host an event to recognize female faculty and staff members who are “SHEros” in the campus community. Students are encouraged to recognize female faculty and staff members who have made a different in their lives. Submit a nomination.

Programs commemorating Women’s History Month will take place in March and April. Check out a full schedule (PDF).
