Prominent Entertainment Lawyer, CEO of Beatles’ Apple Corps to Visit UNH

Lee Eastman, a partner at Eastman and Eastman, an entertainment law firm, and Jeff Jones, CEO of the Beatles’ Apple Corps, will speak on campus on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 3:30 p.m. in University Theater in Dodds Hall. The event is part of the Department of Music's Master Speaker series.

Eastman represents various high-profile individuals and estates in music, film, television, publishing and the fine arts, including Paul McCartney, Bill Joel and Jimmy Fallon, among other distinguished musicians and entertainers. He also acts as a strategic adviser to various media companies and is a principal of and adviser to various music publishing interests. He graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in history and completed his J.D. at Stanford Law School.

During his more than 30-year career, Jones has worked with Bob Dylan, U2, The Beastie Boys, LL Cool J and Johnny Cash. He also has collaborated with Ken Burns on his Jazz documentary and worked with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. At Apple Corps, he has been responsible for extending the scope of the Beatles’ music into new domains, starting with the critically acclaimed DVD release of the Beatles’ film Help! in 2007.  He supervised the creation and marketing launch of the “Beatles: Rock Band” home video game and managed the launch of the Beatles.com website. He also has extensive experience in digital media, film and television.
