Panel Discussion: Tackling Homelessness in New Haven

On Tuesday, March 1, the Office of Academic Service Learning will present a lecture titled “Tackling Homelessness in New Haven.” The event, which will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Alumni Lounge in Bartels Hall, will feature four panelists discussing the challenges that state and local stakeholders face about the realities of working in the nonprofit and public sectors to address homelessness.

The participating speakers will be:
•    Kellyann Day, CEO of New Reach
•    Steve DiLella, director of homeless and housing services for Connecticut Department of Housing
•    Amy Casavina Hall, vice president of income and health initiatives for United Way of Greater New Haven
•    Malynda Mallory, manager of emergency services for Columbus House
