Incoming music and sound recording major Rebecca Satzberg ’20 says her college search process wasn’t a difficult one.

“UNH is one of the only colleges that offers the major I want the way I want it,” she said. “I first learned about UNH last spring, and I knew from then that this was the college I wanted to attend.”

One of the deciding factors was the campus radio station, 88.7 WNHU, which has consistently been named the best college radio station in the area.

An Annapolis, Md., native, she will also pursue a second major in business. Her goal is to attend law school after graduation and to one day run her own recording studio.

Joining Charger Nation is the first step on that journey, which she is especially excited to enjoy with her best friend, who will also be enrolling at UNH in the fall.

“UNH has so much to offer, from internships to clubs to sports,” she said. “I am most looking forward to all the opportunities that will be available to me.”

This is the third in a series that will welcome some of UNH’s newest students in the Class of 2020 who will join the UNH community in the fall. Read the first and second spotlights.
